Take a visit to Philipsburg, Montana and you will find a quirky old mining town of 900 that is steeped in history and rough around the edges. Just like the town he calls home, Ben Larson brings to the stage a completely original sound that intertwines Western storytelling, country classics and plenty of barnyard animal noises. The songs are the sounds of the high plains and backwoods, cowboy poetry and a touch of heavy industry; they are the tales of life in the rural west, ghosts of the past and wry words of wisdom compiled over years of living outside and working with his hands.  

Ben and his trusty percussionist Pfahl, are road warriors, driving 30k miles and playing over 100 shows in 2024 and opening the stages for the likes of the Wilder Blue, Big Richard, Jeff Crosby, Melissa Carper and many more as they attempt to perform in all 56 Montana counties.
