PADDLING FILM FESTIVAL WORLD TOUR
The Arts Council of Big Sky invites you to an evening of adventure and inspiration with the Paddling Film Festival, a celebration of the paddling lifestyle and the beauty of waterways around the world.
Since 2006, the Paddling Film Festival has been bringing audiences the very best films about paddling. Whether it’s exploring wild rivers, navigating vast oceans, or capturing the serenity of a remote lake, these stories inspire us to connect with nature, push our limits, and appreciate the incredible places paddling can take us.

You could call Hayden Kristal a horse girl, but they prefer neigh/them. Hayden’s quick wit and cheerful self-deprecation has earned them a spot as an America’s Got Talent semifinalist, a headlining show at Netflix is a Joke, roles on Adult Swim/HBOMax’s Tuca and Bertie, and over two million followers on social media. When not on the road, Hayden lives on a farm in Colorado with equine-pals Chicken Elizabeth Nugget, Squidward, Debbi From Accounting, and Donkey Devito.
Liam Nelson is a New York City-based comedian hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Standing an impressive 7 feet tall and living with Marfan Syndrome, Liam offers a unique perspective on life as a "walking spectacle." At just 26 years old, he weaves sharp, hilarious commentary on navigating the world as a disabled young adult with stories that are equal parts outrageous and deeply relatable.
He’s performed nationwide with top comics like Sam Morril, Gianmarco Soresi and Dusty Slay, appeared at the Netflix Is A Joke festival, and released his first Dry Bar Comedy Special in 2025. He also appeared on the 2026 season of Netflix’s Star Search Reboot.
Ty Colgate is a New York based comedian and content creator known for his juxtaposition between his upper-class appearance and his impoverished childhood. This combination allows him to effortlessly navigate rooms of all societal backgrounds, pairing his enthusiastic stage presence with biting satire and comedically heartwarming moments of humanity.
His unique perspective and style of comedy has been celebrated internationally. Ty Colgate has performed at storied venues all across the world such as Cosmic Comedy (Berlin), Zanies (Nashville & Chicago), Comedy Bar (Toronto), Comedy Clubhouse (Barcelona), Punch Line (San Francisco & Sacramento), and many more. You can also see him performing at festivals such as Nashville, Look out, and Red Eye. He’s a touring opener for Gianmarco Soresi, and has featured for large-name acts such as Mike Falzone, Morgan Jay, and Sasheer Zamata. He’s also won an Emmy! (for his work at the Weather Channel, but still.)
